Amy Kust has primary day-to-day responsibility for TRC’s operations and planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. She’s responsible for accounting, expense management, finance, financial statement preparation, forecasting and budgeting, auditing and strategic planning. She also has executive responsibility for TRC’s Human Resources department.
Amy was previously TRC’s AP Manager and Assistant Controller. She managed AP staff, developed processes consistent with the principles of segregation of duties, implemented efficiencies, prepared month-end reconciliations and reviewed month-end workpapers of accounting managers and staff. She also designed and ensured the consistent implementation of controls leading to SSAE 16 certification and worked directly with auditors in financial and SSAE 16 audits. In addition, Amy was responsible for preparing month-end financials and reviewing them with TRC’s executive management.
Amy came to TRC from Deloitte & Touche. There, she audited financial statements for various SEC and non-SEC clients and performed control testing in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and financial statement analysis.
Amy is a cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a Masters of Professional Accountancy degree.
