As Vice President, Global Marketing, Jerry Funaro is responsible for TRC’s strategic marketing plan and positioning as well as tactical marketing and communications initiatives.
He works closely with the company’s Global Business Development group and across the organization to increase awareness of TRC and to support the company’s continued growth.
Jerry has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience, most of it spent in the employee mobility industry. Before joining TRC in 2009, he held marketing management roles at Mobility Services International, Weichert Workforce Mobility and Relocation Resources International. Earlier, he was a consultant, writer and project manager at MDI Creative, an integrated communications agency, and served as a Zone Manager for Ford Motor Company.
He is an active member of Worldwide ERC© (Employee Relocation Council), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the American Marketing Association (AMA). Jerry has written numerous articles for relocation publications and has presented at relocation conferences and events.
Jerry has been honored with Worldwide ERC’s Distinguished Service and Meritorious Service awards in recognition of his dedicated service and significant professional contributions to Worldwide ERC and the global workforce mobility business community. He received Mobility magazine’s Editorial Achievement Award, in recognition for his outstanding contribution to the professionalism of the global mobility industry with his article, “When a Transferee is Part of a Same Sex Couple”.
Jerry currently chairs Worldwide ERC’s Americas Strategic Council. He was the 2015 chairman of WERC’s Communications Committee and sat on WERC’s 2016 Global Workforce Symposium Program Planning Task Force. Previously, he served on the Mobility magazine Editorial Advisory Committee and the program planning committee for WERC’s 2013 National Relocation Conference.
Jerry earned an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, with majors in history and international relations. He holds the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) and Senior Global Mobility Specialist-Talent (SGMS-T) designations from Worldwide ERC.
