Paul Haislmaier, TRC’s Chairman and Founder, is a relocation industry pioneer and innovator. His strong ethical sense and client-centered service focus is an integral part of today’s employee-owned company.
Like many relocation professionals, Paul entered the industry in an indirect way. After earning a degree in biochemistry from Marquette University, Paul spent the first 10 years of his business career in sales and marketing and new product sales development with Monsanto Chemical Company, Litton Industries and Arvey Corporation. At the same time, he pursued and received his MBA from Western New England College.
In 1979, Paul took a new career direction and joined his brother at a small real estate company. Launching his relocation career, he created a unique and highly successful home finding program for local Milwaukee corporations. The small firm grew and merged with another local firm, creating First Realty, Better Homes and Gardens in Milwaukee.
By 1987 Paul had grown dissatisfied with service level provided by the major relocation management companies with which he worked. With the motto of “Doing All the Right things for All the Right Reasons”, he and other First Realty employees founded The Relocation Center, Inc., to provide a level of corporate relocation service that had been previously unavailable.
The company grew and prospered. Today, as TRC Global Mobility, the company continues to anticipate the needs of clients worldwide, with offices in Milwaukee, Connecticut, London and Shanghai. Paul continues as Chairman and Founder, and the philosophical center of the organization. The company’s first client in 1987 is still a valued client today.
Paul is a member of the Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce, CEO of the Growing Business Steering Committee and participates in a Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) roundtable group.
