Situation

The company sought a global relocation management company that could provide fully outsourced domestic and international relocation services. One of its main objectives was to find a relocation partner that could centralize its mobility program globally.

Solution

Following the contract award, TRC’s relocation specialists worked with the client and the previous relocation provider to transition 139 in-process global files and 53 in-process domestic files. The departing relocation provider had given notice that it would terminate service to the client’s on-assignment employees after 30 days.

TRC took over assignees in process in Australia, Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.

The majority of the global files focused on transitioning lease agreements and payments to landlords/vendors within 30 days, ensuring that on-assignment employees did not suffer any service interruptions. “Since TRC took over my relocation file, everything went perfectly. They were very responsive and answered all questions immediately. It was night and day compared with the previous relocation provider,” stated one of the on-assignment employees.
